After cleansing, toning, and applying eye cream, dispense 1-2 pumps of Avocado Ceramide Recovery Serum and gently pat onto slightly damp face and neck until fully absorbed. Follow with your favorite moisturizer to seal everything in place. Apply daily, AM and PM. Keep in a cool, dry place--away from direct light.

What is Ceramide-5 and why do I need it in my skincare routine?

5 ceramides specifically chosen because they are identical to the ceramides already present in skin. Combined, Ceramide-5 acts as the most effective combination of ceramides for the skin barrier. With age, environmental factors, and diet, our skin’s ceramide levels can become compromised resulting in: dry, irritated, itchy, red skin. Applying a topical source of ceramides helps prevent and repair the look of irritation on the skin barrier, while alleviating skin discomfort.

Is this suitable for acne prone, oily skin?

The formula is great for acne prone or oily skin due to its lightweight fast absorbing texture. Research has shown that a weakened skin barrier may contribute to acne formation. Because ceramides are instrumental in skin barrier function, this formula works well on all skin types.

Is this suitable for eczema or rosacea prone skin?

Bye bye red cheeks!
I've always had extremely red skin around my cheeks and I've had to use full coverage foundation to hide it. Had ordered this one to my first order as a hail mary hoping it might make some difference and it's making far more difference than I ever could of expected. The tone even after the first few days has improved, I'm so excited to see what the next few weeks bring!

Very soothing on the skin.

It feels very soothing on the skin, but I'm unsure whether it helps me with redness. I'm not a fan of the packaging for this. Every time I pressed down on the pump the liquid shot out aggressively. Had to remind myself to put my hand right against the pump.

A Go-To Serum for the Winter! 🥑💚

I tried a sample packet of this serum and I fell in love with it! I bought the full bottle to fully incorporate it into my routine!

This Avocado Serum is perfect for the winter! My skin has been horrible since it started getting colder where I live. My face was drying and cracking into flakes, turning my skin extremely inflamed and sensitive. This serum helped reduce my redness incredibly well, including my inflamed acne. It also evened out my skin tone and left my skin looking more lively, which was a big surprise to me! I never realized how much of a red undertone my tan skin had until I used this serum. This serum also has a nice natural scent to it!

I’ve been using this serum every 3 nights, substituting my Strawberry and Blackberry serums, for about 2 weeks to heal my skin’s surface. It has also been my go-to daytime serum to use alongside the Banana Souffle Moisture Cream to defend my skin from the harsh cold weather. I highly recommend this serum to those with dry and/or sensitive skin, especially for these winter months!

Note: I originally submitted this review on 12/15/2024 via review email, but for some odd reason it didn't appear on the website, so I am resubmitting it here as of 12/30/2024! I have been using this serum for a month now, and it's still amazing :)

A Soothing Staple

Having dry but acne prone skin, I love that this compliments the strawberry serum. I struggle to balance things that clarify while keeping my skin moisturized, and these together keep my skin clear and helps minimize breakout duration when I have it. This serum is also amazing for when actives get a little over done, I use with the plum serum and use an extra pump of avo for a quick recovery. A great staple to keep in your rotation!
