To Use As An Eye Sleeping Mask:

After cleansing, apply a pea-sized amount to the entire orbital eye area and gently pat into skin using ring finger for optimal absorption. Apply nightly. Do not layer with other eye creams. Use before applying serums.

To Use As A Daytime Eye Treatment:

Follow instructions above. Layer SPF that is safe for the eye area on top of the formula.

Where do I apply this in my routine?

Apply the eye sleeping mask after cleansing and toning, but before your treatment or serum steps. Most serums are not ophthalmologist tested, so our recommendation is to apply eye treatment beforehand to protect the delicate eye area. During the daytime, make sure to follow with sunscreen that’s safe for use near the eyes to avoid breakdown of the retinol. Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask is dermatologist and ophthalmologist tested for safe use around the eye.

What benefits does retinol have for the eye area?

We used encapsulation technology to coat the retinol molecules in our eye mask with hydrating and soothing ingredients, which provides a myriad of benefits. This makes encapsulated retinol more effective and less irritating for the delicate eye area and because it releases slowly over time, its benefits work for longer.

What makes an eye sleeping mask different from eye creams?

An eye sleeping mask can be treated as an eye cream with much more potent ingredients. All the ingredients are amplified so your skin can reap the benefits during the night time where it is uninterrupted without external environmental factors. The Avocado Melt Eye Sleeping Mask contains encapsulated retinol which helps to smooth dry, rough skin around the eyes. My favorite eye cream out there. The Avocado Melt eye cream has smoothed the crows feet lines around my eyes. It makes a great hydrating base below my makeup. I will not go anywhere without this on my face.

Please bring back the avocado facial mask

Truly potent yet effective. I miss the avocado melt facial mask so much. I would use the duo every other day as it was gentle enough and had drastically improved results with literally ZERO side effects. I’m yet to find a retinoid product that is able to balance noticeable results with no irritation. Like the mask would literally make my face softer, it was unheard of. I hope they bring the facial mask back like they did the banana moisturizer. Once upon a time glow recipe had amazing products that didn’t need incentivized reviews or influencers being paid to make products go viral.

Listen, I will not shut up about this stuff. It works miracles. I have *very* heavy lidded eyes, and legit my very first morning after using it I saw a HUGE difference. The effect goes away if you stop using it (it's me, hi, I'm super forgetful esp at night) but oh my god it is worth the money. I will be (im)patiently waiting for a mini to be available
