We formulate with the highest quality natural ingredients, and what’s not in the formula is just as important as what is. We provide full ingredient lists for complete transparency on our formulas.
Our skin-care essentials are clean, vegetarian, and Leaping Bunny certified cruelty-free. Learn more about the ingredients we choose to not formulate with.
- • No animal-derived ingredients, including fats, oils, musks
- • Glow Recipe is Leaping Bunny certified-cruelty free & all our products are vegan!
- • No Oxybenzone or Octinoxate
- • No Plastic Microbeads
- • No mercury or mercury-containing ingredients
- • No dyes or synthetic colorants are used in our skin-care formulations
- We choose to formulate without the following:
- • Parabens, Formaldehyde or Formaldehyde-releasing agents, Triclosan, Triclocarban
- • Cyclical silicones: Cyclotetrasiloxane (D4), Cyclohexasiloxane (D6) - Cyclopentasiloxane (D5)
- • BHA/BHT (Butylated Hydroxyanisole and Butylated Hydroxytoluene, preservatives that are not to be confused with Beta Hydroxy Acid)
- • Talc
- • Mineral Oil
- • Resorcinol
- • Urea
- • Hydroquinones
- • Retinyl Palmitate
- • Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) or Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES)
- • The Following Ethanolamine’s: DEA, TEA, MEA
- • Phthalates
- • Nanoparticles, as defined by the EU
We believe sensoriality is key to enjoying and using skin care. So we use the minimum amount of fragrance to create a pleasant skin-care experience and to help mask ingredients and actives that don't smell great on their own. We never use more than 0.5% of Synthetic Fragrance in our facial skincare formulas and use naturally derived fragrances or fragrances created from edible ingredients whenever possible.
