In 2023, we launched our first-ever anonymous open casting for our Dew You campaign, choosing diverse members from our Glow Gang based on personality and inner beauty. We only saw them for the first time when they were selected! Our community was inspired by the models' stories and the spirit of Dew You: that everyone deserves a spot in a beauty campaign. This year, we’re expanding internationally with a new twist, giving more members a chance to share what makes them glow—get ready with me style!

Meet Amanda

Why were you interested in being a part of this campaign?
I really want to be an inspiration to other little girls that look like me.
What does beauty mean to you?
[Beauty] goes deeper than the skin. Just you having a beautiful aura, a beautiful personality in my opinion, makes you beautiful and everybody has that within them.
Why do you love Dew Drops?
The way the sun hits my skin when Dew Drops are on is literally unreal. I get so many compliments. The dew drops is my holy grail product.

Why were you interested in being a part of this campaign?
I am here because I am a big trans advocate. For me to be inclusive as a transgender woman in any campaign is a big deal.
What does beauty mean to you?
Beauty is when you feel most confident, when you feel most comfortable in your own skin. Beauty is coming from the inside and beauty for everybody is totally different.
Why do you love Watermelon Toner?
I love how watermelon toner keeps your skin hydrated and exfoliates the skin to create more new and glowing skin.

I really like what Glow Recipe stands for and what they do for the community. They include everyone and not just models.
Why do you love Dew Drops?
Dew Drops gives me an instant glow and I don't feel like I need makeup afterwards.
What does being a part of the Glow Recipe community mean to you?
What I love about Glow Recipe is that they include everyone and everyone in the community will be able to relate to someone like me in the campaign

Why were you interested in being a part of this campaign?
I feel like I've never really seen Punjabi representation, especially in skincare. And so I applied for it, and the whole time I'm just like, this would just be such a good inspiration to even young Punjabi girls that look up to skincare and makeup.
How does taking care of your skin make you feel confident?
I think having healthy, glowing skin is very important to me because when I have healthy, glowing skin, I just feel confident and I feel like I don't need to put makeup on or anything.
Why do you love toner?
I love watermelon toner because it's very hydrating and it's very lightweight, and it doesn't make my skin sticky.

What does being a part of the Glow Recipe community mean to you?
It means I feel seen, heard, and included. I don't feel alone. I feel like I fit into society more because Glow Recipe brings together people from different cultures, ethnicities, stories, and insecurities.
What does beauty mean to you?
For me, personality is 100% beauty, the most beautiful. When I'm embracing what makes me, me — what does Josie want, what makes Josie, Josie? It's her acne scars, her eczema. That's part of me, that's part of my life.

Why were you interested in being a part of this campaign?
As a part of the LGBTQ community and as a bisexual girl, I feel like there are many misconceptions around it. I think there is a big issue with invisibility, how we don't see ourselves anywhere in movies, ad campaigns, etc. I wanted to be part of this campaign to show a different body type, so people who are like me, who have the same body type as me, know that it's possible to outshine and to feel beautiful as they are.
Why do you love toner?
I love the watermelon toner because it minimized my pores and I never had such beautiful skin.
What does beauty mean to you?
For me, beauty comes from the inside. It's being generous, it's being kind, it's accepting people how they are with their differences and with their struggles.

What does being a part of the Glow Recipe community mean to you?
Being a part of this community basically means that we are all included. We embody all of you. There's you in each of one of us, and if I can be one person who represents anybody from the hard of hearing community, for a parent who has a special needs kid, teachers, anybody, that is what embodies for me the meaning of being in this GR community.
Why do you love Dew Drops?
Dew Drops makes you glow and it's so diverse. You can use it with many different products and it just makes you look so glowing.
How does taking care of your skin make you feel confident?
[It's] self-love. Your skin is your biggest organ, so when you take care of yourself and your face, spending that 20 minutes of your day, you are showing your skin love.

How does taking care of your skin make you feel confident?
Because I am keeping myself accountable every day. Doing my skincare every day is something that I not only can cross off a list, but it's also something that I can say, 'oh yeah, I took care of myself.'
Why do you love toner?
I love the watermelon toner is because it already gives you a glow before the serum itself, and when you add the serum on top of it, it just explodes. You will be glazed like a donut.
What does beauty mean to you?
Beauty to me is community. You need people around you that makes you feel beautiful.
