Emily's Glowing Skin-Care Routine
I only started my skin care journey about 3 years ago, and I’ve learned so much. At first, I kept layering harsh products like clay masks and clarifying toners and they were drying out my skin. My skin started flaking and that’s when I realized that I needed to use hydrating products.
My skin used to be combination, but since I create intricate makeup looks all the time, my skin has become more dry. Now I need to use a really cleansing and hydrating skin care routine. I actually use Glow Recipe products every day.
Emily's Must Haves
Banana Soufflé Moisture Cream
This is my favorite product right now. It really helps with my dry patches, and the smell is awesome. It was a total game-changer this winter. Sometimes I love to layer the Pink Juice Moisturizer underneath this as a hydrating serum as well.
Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask
When I use heavy foundation in my makeup videos, the pores on my nose tend to clog up. I always like to do an exfoliating face mask after cleansing to really make sure that my skin is clear. I just put the Watermelon Glow Sleeping Mask on for 10 minutes and when I wash it off my skin is nice and fresh.
Avocado Melt Retinol Eye Sleeping Mask
If I don’t put it on at night, I definitely have eye bags in the morning. It’s super hydrating and the texture really soaks right up into my skin.
